No. 2 Syracuse vs. Yale, 7:30 p.m. Sunday

2. Syracuse — The regular-season finale over Colgate was highlighted by Brendan Bomberry's three goals. The Orange have won eight one-goal games. Sergio Salcido and Nick Mariano have enjoyed fantastic seasons. Defender Scott Firman covers Ben Reeves in the day’s marquee matchup. Coach John Desko turns to FOGO Ben Williams, and goalie Evan Molloy in the possession war. Sunday night Dome lacrosse will be announced on ESPNU by Chris Cotter, Paul "Capri" Carcaterra, and Ric Beardsley, good ole No. 47.

Yale — The Bulldogs prevailed in four overtimes over Penn in the Ivy League seminal and then held off Brown in the final to capture the Ivy AQ. They are well-seasoned and always a difficult matchup in the postseason under Andy Shay. This offense is very talented— it's not a one-man show as Jack Tigh, Eric Scott, Matt Gaudet and Joey Sessa can all rip the net.

ESPN pays this guy for this "expert" analysis. that breakdown is so generic and obvious .

He worked really hard. He didn't get in one insult or backhanded compliment. That or he was edited - harshly.

You missed this (although, it was a jab at Carc, and not SU in general - based on this):

Yes, you are correct, I glanced over the announcers. Quint is worse than a greedy toddler that has to have his way and if not will make everyone as miserable as he is.

Sucks to be him.

that reads like term paper you cranked out over lunch break. few facts and a lot of fluff.
any casual observer could read a few boxscores and be as prescient. they pay him what ?

Carc deserves that and more for those "pants." You can't wear those and not expect your boys not to hammer on you.
