I guessed first and Googled it to check. I was correct. Educated guess, but I also have an Austrian exchange student living with us for the year, so that should give some of you a hint if you know where Vienna, Austria is on that map.

Okay.

I think it has Poland to the north, Hungary to the south, Ukraine to the east, Austria to the west, and the Czech Republic to the northwest.

Melania is from Slovenia. But you did correctly pick out Slovenia.

I'm trying to figure that out with some questions some mods asked me in the

AZOrange and Bees took my suggestion and used a crayon And longtime fan was also correct.

When I was in Italy quite a while ago I was talking to a young woman from Slovakia who said she had driven to Florence for a long weekend. I thought, “How is that possible? It is so far away.” Then I looked at the map and saw it was right next to Italy. But now I realize that I had misremembered where she was from. She must have been from Slovenia.

And now I am smarter! Or at least less dumber-er.
