Sorry for not being on top of this (little league baseball has taken over)...has any one of the Kentucky players actually declared yet for the draft? I mean officially?

"Officially" I don't believe so, which is why the people on the UK board are still holding out hope that, primarily, MKG might return for his sophomore season.

Kentuck has about as much of a chance of MKG coming back as Syracuse does Dion coming back, NONE!

Pretty sure MKG said he was leaving during the Sweet 16

They won the National Championship* and have absolutely no reason to come back to school.

*Subject to being vacated in the near future.

No one has officially declared. I would have gotten a text about it, and I haven't yet. I imagine today might be the day though.

Pretty sure MKG said he was leaving during the Sweet 16
he later tweeted that he had not decided and then his mom got into a mini twitter war with Jeff Goodman, I think.

dont worry marsh. there is no such thing as a dumb question.

its just dumb person asking a question.

The actual NBA deadline to declare for the draft is april 29th, I think. The NCAA has a soft deadline that Cal has told his players they could ignore without repercussion.

The April 10 NCAA date only affects kids who declared for the NBA draft to revoke that and come back to their school. But if you never declared to leave, and haven't said anything yet, you can still declare for the NBA until April 29. None of the UK players declared so they are safe under NCAA rules but can still declare by the NBA deadline. This seems to be the route for Drummond at UConn also.
