received an interesting call today...

from a good friend who attended the nd game and who is a und alum. as we are talking hoops and grabbing drinks in dc when he is in town again he said he noticed higgins , a few others and marinotto(sp?) eating at the nd legends rest and bar. I told him i didnt think this could be accurate and asked if he got a picture to prove it and he did not. im curious if therr could be any credence to this at all? my buddy is a straight shooter and knows higgins from watching enough games and has seen pics of marinotto in the press. we have all been upset with officiating and this could be a mistaken id. just thought it was interesting and we talked how odd it would be if accurate and what was being discussed.

your thoughts? does higgins have friendships within the league's leadership? just a disclaimer this could again be my buddys mistake but its interestinh none the less. i would def consider him credible.

The were having lunch together but Higgins was at a table across the room from Marinatto and Higgins had his back to him. He was still able to carry on a conversation with him though.
