I clicked on the link and started about #45-5o and started scrolling down...hmm no Cuse in the 60s-70s. I got to about 85 and said What to myself...continued to scroll into the GRob Zone 90+ by the time I hit 120 I turned around. I started at 80 and went up thinking I missed it...well I never saw it as he had Cuse starting at #41 just down 4 spots from 2102.

Curious that Louisville is rated a few spots lower than Cuse.

He says 7-5 with wins over Wagner, Tulane, NC State, Wake Forest, Maryland Pittsburgh and Boston College.

I say the record's the same, but we drop a game we're supposed to win and win a game we're supposed to drop.

Either way, I can live with it. Gives us fantastic momentum. Need to start stringing together winning seasons and bowl wins. That's our next challenge.

he forgot about Penn State - 8-4

7-5 is a reasonable assessment.

I think that's a somewhat reasonable expectation for those of us who follow the program. To the national media, if we achieve this, it will be a break through year. We will be back in the mix. I expect us to be 3rd in our division. If we do that, huge win.

And Clemson and GA Tech. :)

That leaves Northwestern and FSU. NU is beatable... should've beaten them last year... argh.

it kills me when I think about it. NU, RU and Minny all should've been wins last year. What could've been :(

How are these rankings compiled? I was pretty surprised to see Louisville at #46. They are coming off a great year with a huge bowl win and returning a Heisman candidate under center. I would guess that most would have them between the 7 and 15 range.

The Penn State game will determine the season IMO we are underdogs @Northwestern, Clemson, @Florida State, @Georgia Tech we should beat Wagner, Tulane, Boston College all at home. That leaves Penn State, Maryland, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, NC State as tossups. If we beat Penn State I think we beat Wake, Pitt and one of NC State/Maryland and get 8 wins.

Las Vegas appears to believe Syracuse is 7th-best team in ACC, 3rd in the Atlantic Division and the No. 46 team in the country.

Not bad respect. FSU is 11th, Clemson 15th. Also, ahead of SU were Miami, UNC, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech.
