According to oj yes, but his knee injury must have forever changed his game. I've never seen such an awarkward inefficient throwing motion.

He may have a strange throwing motion but I don't think Rex has done that badly considering this is the first game that he has had playing time.

He's a redshirt freshman who hasn't played a lot of football in the past couple years.

I'm glad they got him in there. He's 3rd string next year. We know 1st string won't play all year, and 2nd string will be in his first ever live action in college football. The more experience for Rex, the better. We were getting boat raced today no matter what.

Keeping Mahoney in would have been a colossal waste of development time.

In his defense, it probably has something to do with the fact that he hasnt taken any meaningful snaps at the QB position in 3 years. Missed his Sr year of high school due to ACL injury and redshirted last year.
