Great PR opportunity to say no to Pitino.

No way a catholic school hires Pitino given his baggage.

If Pitino gets a job, it will be at a second tier division 1 program with little academic or moral prestige and program history... and a program that are performing poorly (obviously.)

Maybe he could campaign for the UMASS job (even thought it's not open)? We have a poster here who believes UMASS will be in the BiG10 at some point. This would get Pitino ahead of that curve.
