Rileys fumble

I don’t see how it would have made a big difference and changed the game. Liberty didn’t score the next possession. It cost us 25 yards but we weren’t moving the ball the first half regardless where we started.

Riley’s mistakes used to cost us games. See LSU and MTSU. Now the rest of the team is good enough to overcome them
I like Sean Riley and what he brings to the Syracuse Offense and Special Teams. The only things that drive me nuts is that he drops easy passes at crucial times and that he used more than he does now, allow a punt to hit the ground and roll backwards causing his offense to start deep in their own territory. He did it once in the Liberty game. I'm not saying by any means that he has to return the punt, but at least fair catch it. Go Orange!!!

When was the last time he truly dropped an easy pass?

If he doesnt fumble i truly believe this is a much different game.

Punt returners can’t put the ball on the ground. Especially a guy his size - he has to protect the ball and himself even more.

With that said, with the game Tommy and the WRs had, not sure if it makes much of a difference.

I would’ve loved to have seen a replay of the fumble, but you know, ESPN+.

I agree. I believe we win 24-0 with 1 less fumble in our box score.

I think we would've scored, deflated them, and rolled to a much prettier scorelines but we'll never know.

Pretty good place to be expectations wise when a 24 point road win and feels like we only played our C game overall.
