I love the optimism around here and all the talk about our "soft schedule". I agree that the names on paper don't look daunting, but I've actually dug in for the first time and we got screwed here. Early bye, a slate of 3 road games where 2 of which are on weekdays, including playing Pitt on a Thursday night when they are coming off of a bye.

This kinda sucks and will really test our depth. Good thing Fran is preaching toughness.

Those 3 in a row are actually scheduled nicely. We basically have 2 weeks to prep for the first, and extra day for the 2nd, and a bye for the third.

Early bye for a new HC is good it helps reset.

I am more worried about the BC and Cal stretch.

He we play well the first 2 games the bye gets us set for the next few..

If we dont the bye lets us regroup.
