CFB culture is a lot better than the NFL but I'm not sure alcohol has much to do with it. Plenty of SEC fans pregame hard at their hours-long tailgates in The Grove or outside Death Valley. Plenty of liquor gets snuck in as well.

I think most people won't feel the need to get ridiculously sloppy before kickoff if they know beer is available inside the stadium.

How many bottles do you think that would be? Unless it’s downsizing someone from a 30 rack of Natty Light to an 18 pack, it won’t hurt sales.
