He is so transformed physically I can see it. he has the talent, now hopefully he has the body and stamina to get it done.

As an aside, I dont get the full on disparaging of Triche at this point. We havent even played a game in his junior year yet.

This is true, but I'd like to think that the exhibitions are at least an indicator of how good a player is right now. After all, the reason people are high on Fab is because he looked so active in the exhibitions.

But Triche didn't look good in the exhibitions. Not writing him off, but for the second straight year, it looks like a reputedly very good summer isn't leading directly to a breakout season.

I don't believe people are disparaging Brandon (to me, he looks the same as last year, when he started on a team that won 27 games); but the fact is some other guys are getting better year over year. Fab has improved his conditioning; CJ has a jump shot; Keita is working on his moves; Dion is quicker. MCW improved from the first exhibition to the second and hit 3 shots from outside. BT needs to pick it up.

OK, here's what I don't get. Half the pundits had Jeremy Lamb 1st team AA. I thought he was a nice complimentary player on last year's Huskie team. He did not show me that he's one of the 5 best in the land.

It was a small sample but I was very impressed with him during their run. Top 5 in the country? Not sure, but he was impressive.

I'd agree with this. Kid showed a lot at the end of the year. Hopefully he doesn't pan out this year though.

Nobody that participated in that horrendous championship game last year should ever enjoy basketball success in the future. They ruined the sport of basketball for small children all over the world that night. Some kid in China that was going to be the next Yao Ming is probably working in a factory right now making microchips because that game made it seem like that would be more fun than playing basketball.

But he doesn't pick SU to make the Final Four? That doesn't make sense. This team will go far if Melo plays well. If this team goes out early, it will be because of lack of quality front court play.
