Just watched Shaf's Presser:
Have to say he seemed/looked noticeably tired, and rightfully so. Its been a long stretch of work for him. He also traveled all around the country the past week (Florida, North Carolina,Connecticut and even Texas for the Bowl Presser).

Some things he mentioned:
- Laughed at Keon Lyns Tweets. Said he loves Keon but he is not playing in the Bowl Game.
- Eskridge is out (although Shaf didn't confirm this)
- Talked about teams resiliency this year. We lost 60% of our production (Nassib,Sales, Shamarko, Lemon) and still fight back
- Also made a comment that he hopes in 5-10 years down the road from now he has former players calling him to give him great update. He seems to make it sound like he's here for good and wants to build something special here. Im fully on board.
- Mentioned how he wants FSU to win, good credibility for the ACC and its a nice recruiting pitch to say Winston the heisman winner is in your conference.
- Said he thinks we are an 8-4 team. We are a touchdown away in both games from being 8-4.
- Lastly he said Terrel Hunt will certainly have competition next year. Its not his job for good. He needs to prove that its his job.

I will never buy into a coach being here any longer then the current year. I too well remember the ' this is the job Ive been pointing to my whole life drivel" from DM, I've learned my lesson well as Ricky Nelson once crooned

Thanks for the report. What did Lyn tweet? Sorry if that is common knowledge.

I like HCSS... but I hate the "we were this close to being 8-4" ... we were closer to being 5-7 (BC) than 8-4.

The players love HCSS, I think he isn't putting on a show. They seem very tight knit, it is nice that he wants to be involved with their post SU lives.

If you're going to give us a BC loss, then you have to give us a Pitt win right? I mean, we definitely outplayed them.

I'm not giving us a loss to BC- I just like the old Parcells line. You are what your record says you are.

You play with the stats and scenarios too much you end up lookng like a Gopher fan

I agree with the Parcells line, especially related to this team. I was just responding to your comment about really being more like 5-7 and mentioning BC. But 6-6 is what kind of team we were, and the numbers worked out.
