sure, but they're not in the mix yet - this is the time for the staff to build the relationships with this kid so he doesn't go running if/when one of those schools decides to get involved

Just to piggy back off of that, per the other site, little Provo is up to 5 offers as well. With BC and the Ville being the bigger names we will be competing with.

Looks like a good list. At least half of the recruiting battles should have lists like this (or better). Get in early and keep working it.

Can't wait to see what position they recruit him at. Alabama already has commitments from 2 running backs, 1 linebacker and 3 'athletes'.

No doubt. This kid must be awesome, because there are a lot of great athletes much closer to bama than these guys. Not that that matters for them, as they can go grab anybody.

Sure would be nice to get a couple more NY kids and keep steamrolling.. Hopfully the kids we have are helping quite a bit as well, this was part of "the plan" will it work? I don't know, lets hope but sooner or later we have to win a few of these to become more succesful.. Get these 2 and the next two next year will be that much easier

Edwards ran a 4.5 40 this past weekend, which really helped him a lot. His speed is increasing and he is a bigger back to begin with. He is definitely turning some heads.

ugh... UVA's on a roll lately... I worry a little about them getting into the NYC market, especially with our move to the ACC

unior RB, Augustus Edwards of Tottenville HS is one of 400 seniors nationwide to be nominated to play in the Army All-American Bowl. 90 players will eventually be selected to play.

Edwards has received interest from many schools including Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Alabama, Boston College, Pitt, Rutgers, Purdue, Indiana, Temple, Oregon, Maryland and others.

This past season Edwards rushed for 995 yards and scored 10 TDs on the ground and he scored 2 TDs on kick returns.
