I don't think there's any disagreement that the only ranking that matters is the one in April...just like I'm pretty sure walking into another teams gym as the number two team is still a pretty big bullseye.

I had to go twenty years without seeing a little "1" next to my team's name. I feel as if the universe owes me.

Was not too impressed by Arizona. I think they lose to Colorado in a couple of weeks. If we beat UNC, BC and Pitt, then I think we will be #1.

I need to see us beat Pitt before I believe it is possible. If you took the Miami Heat and put SU uniforms on them, I wouldn't bet against Pitt. Something about playing a far far superior team makes them rise to the occasion against us every single time.

We do have an abysmal record against Pitt, but we did split against them last year. I think our current team has the talent to stifle the Dixon jinx. Although Pitt is currently 14-1 - which is impressive - we will be their first ranked opponent.
