Or the potential of one all of a sudden. Does this indicate the staff giving a clear message on the coaching situation? Clearly 2023 was quiet. In part because of the large class the prior year but likely also because of the uncertainty around JB. Just makes me wonder, if we are on the verge of signing potentially more than one kid for 2024, if that obvious point has been clarified. If so it seems to indicate one of the underlings will be the guy. I haven’t heard the question asked directly of any of these recruits, but is a pretty obvious one for any interviewer.

Credit where credit is due Coach Boeheim is having a good season. The early hiccups weren’t his fault. The team is improving and embracing atleast unleashing Weitsman will help recruiting.

He has earned the fact that the early frustration that wanted immediate change needs to relax which I was part of and if the team continues to improve will deserve another year.

Early front runner for sentence of the year.

The way the last week or two has gone with recruiting, Adam might be the HCIW.
It’s money, find me a recruit that has a sudden shift in interest that isn’t in conjunction with an NIL deal and I’ll agree that a coach in waiting has been named

I agree it's money, I'm joking that if Adam keeps buying recruits for the program they might just give the HC job to him.

This has absolutely zero to do with the coaching staff and everything to do with Adam and Adam being super strategic about bringing Melo into the fold. They are and will be an unstoppable combo as everyone can see. Brilliant move on his part

I did not realize Melo was getting involved right now. I had hoped he would when he stopped playing. Any details that can be made public about what he's doing?

2024 is a lifetime from now. We need immediate impact portal transfers for 2023, with the expected departure of JG3 and Jesse, at a minimum. The idea that 2023 is yet another bridge year should not be considered "ok".

Are you saying these 'croots are committing regardless of who the coaching staff is in 2 years?

My personal opinion, I don’t think they care considering the moves that are being made behind the scenes that are helping them out with NIL stuff. They in turn help the program. Win win for everyone
The question is, would such things that are helping out in NIL still be in place if next HC is outside the current 'family'?

To quote Winston, "If there's a paycheck in it, I'll believe whatever you want me to believe..."

I see where this could be heading:

Insubordinate teenage brats making more than the Asst Coaches. Parents or strap-hangers putting so much pressure on their golden ticket to get to 4 status to cash in. I hope I'm wrong.
