Syracuse and UNC carrying the ACC torch

As non-con schedules draw to a close, our new conference didn't do itself many favors with its overall OOC performance. Syracuse and UNC combined for 5-0 against top 25 teams in OOC while the rest of the ACC went 3-14. I'm not sure how much the conference RPI factors in for the Selection Committee but I would have liked to see the numbers supporting the ACC as one of the top 2 conferences in the country, entering conference play. I'm certainly thrilled that we've taken care of our own business to this point but I wonder if the margin for error in achieving a 1 or 2 seed in the east is narrowed at all.
