Soon the CFP rankings will be released and after we crush ND we will surely be in the top 15. Really digging how that projection has us currently in front of WF, rightly so.

Agree, it is nice to be rated ahead of Wake for now in this projection.

Not sure it really matters whether Wake or Syracuse is ahead given they are playing head to head.

UNC is 18th, which is also of interest to us. It would be helpful to us if they lost a couple of games soon to drop out as a factor. They are not Orange Bowl worthy. Definitely a Duke Mayo type.

It is really exciting when you see this and then think about CFP expansion in 2-4 years and how it actually could be possible for Syracuse to make a 12 team playoff one year.

Sneaking in only to face a team coming off a bye if you win and playing the extra game is rough.

They should have kept it to 8 teams. We'd make it if we won out only way we'd get left out is if UNC ran the table and beat Clemson and they both got in. I'd almost rather miss it as 9 seed than have to play that game only to be lined up as road kill vs #1 Alabama coming off a bye when you should have played them opening round 8 vs 1. Both 8 and 9 get screwed in a sense.

12 teams keeps all the P5 conferences happy though extra spots for B1G and SEC and the other 3 get seats.

Would be cool to finish top 12 this year. Our game vs Wake likely determines this if we win that one I think the polls will be friendly to us the final weekend should we smoke BC and CCG weekend.
