Tennessee

After MissState offered $250K and failed to get a QB because Auburn outbid them, shouldn't Tennessee be more worried about the SEC sanctioning them for making the SEC look bad with such a miniscule effort? $60K spread so thin in the SEC is chess team money.

And they’ve been completely mediocre for 15-20 years. If you’re going to cheat, you better at least win.
This take didn't age very well. Seems like they took your advice.

Just kidding with you OrangeDW ;-)

The sleeze rolled right off Philip Fulmer onto Pruitt, one scumbag to another.

Can’t stand the awful colored orange program!

Rocky top you’ll always be the hilljacks of the SEC!

Jeremy Pruitt used his wife, Casey, to deliver cash to parents. Okay, not allowed, but not the first time.

The best part of the report: Before marrying Jeremy, his wife, Casey, worked in NCAA Compliance at Troy, FSU and Oklahoma(!!).

Stranger than fiction.

Kind of funny now with NIL that $60k is basically a joke. Can barely buy one Texas A&M lineman for that.

Only "hundreds" of violations in a three year period? Nothing new here, standard SEC cursory review. Obviously the NCAA was not looking very hard.

The NCAA should perform. Decade long investigation into every possible violation over the past several decades and then get back to us.

$60,000 in illegal benefits doesn't seem like that big a deal to me. Also the hundreds of violations could mean anything - we have seen first hand how that goes. I get that the Vols are/were dirty but it's college football...in the SEC. This seems like the NCAA trying to claim its place against a school that nationwide nobody cares about.

I know that losing scholarships has been a part of penalties in the past. Does the proliferation of NIL money mitigate that a bit as someone could come as a walk on and get enough NIL money to offset the scholarships lost?

Sounds like they've been punished enough. Didn't they have to pay a $5000 fine already?

Nothing to see here.

Hope those creamsicle-colored F#$@#$ get hammered with sanctions. Don't expect that to happen.
