Finished the season with a QBR of 61.5. This was ahead of quarterbacks such as Tom Savage, CJ Brown, Christian Hackenburg, Logan Thomas and John O'Korn. I really don't understand QBR but that seems pretty encouraging. I have to believe the future seems bright.

Hunt essentially had three seasons. When he initially started getting PT, he was unbelievable--leading the nation in passing efficiency, leading the team on scoring drives something like 12 of his first 14 possessions, etc. Accurate, confident, poised as hell.

The, starting with the Clemson game, he went on a multi-game slide where his accuracy stunk and he was under 100 yards per game. Suddenly, he couldn't hit the broad side of the barn, and he looked subpar [putting it mildly]. During this stretch, his ER approached historically poor levels.

But he rallied late. Beginning with the Pitt game [a close loss], then BC [a come from behind close win], and against Minnesota in the bowl, Hunt had a three game stretch where he looked above average. Not suggesting he's Marvin Graves, not suggesting that he is an NFL prospect--but he looked like a guy who could win a lot of games for us over the next two years.

I was greatly encouraged by Phase III. Not only does that give Hunt something to build upon this offseason, but I also am encouraged that he put it together for three games--that it wasn't just a matchup thing or a one-game anomaly. I'm very comfortable with Hunt being our guy the next two years. And if someone actually beats him out during that time--wow, we'll be in great shape as a program at QB.

I like a lot things about Terrel Hunt.

First, I really like his intelligence - he seems like a very sharp kid and he excudes a lot of poise.

Second, I like his leadership qualities - the players seem to listen and follow.

Third, I like the idea that he is a very young veteran - he is now going into his fourth year with the Program.

Fourth, I like his overall body strength and toughness - he takes hits and he keeps playing.

Fifth, I like the fact that his abilty to throw long seemed to improve by the end of the season.

Now, if he can continue to improve his arm strength and his accuracy, I agree - he can be a fine QB for us who can win a lot of games.

I'm rooting for him.

I'll be interested to see how Hunt performs with a new (and presumably more talented) WR corps. I'd like to believe that his accuracy early in the season was largely attributable to our WRs being able to get separation against lesser competition. I'm also anxious to see how Edouard and Long perform against FBS defenses.

I'd add his feet and vision when the pocket breaks down. Uncanny ability to slip out and gain positive yardage.

I have no idea what to make of the guy.

All for a rating that includes running but Espns is not transparent and has a clutch component which is pretty goofy. I don't know what to make if that black box

I will" hunt for heisman 14" if you will give me a clue where to start hunting. Thank god I have all year
