Thanks for sharing the video. It would have been an interesting conference.

I do wonder, though, that had it come to fruition in the late 50s if it wouldn't have broken apart within a few years. Seems like there would have been a lot of internal disagreements, and ultimately all it functioned as was an excuse to play an east vs. west champ game.

Yep exactly.

Finally had a moment to watch it after the fun we had above. Man missed opportunity is right, not specifically to Syracuse, but just in general, as it would’ve been amazing if it came to fruition.

We’d have been in the national conversation all throughout the slow/down periods of the late 1960’s/1970s and 2000s, probably avoiding the significant drop offs all together.

The one thing I think that was incorrect was when he was giving kudos to Syracuse and how we would’ve been a good fit given we were so good in the 50s, was when he made note of the 1959 national championship year, being the same year of Ernie’s Heisman, which, as we know it was later.
