- I wouldn’t trade anyone in our line-up for anyone in their line-up but we could never put this team away and make things easy and fun.
- It looked early like another blow-out win but then BC pulled a dirty trick: they started playing defense. We played as if we didn’t expect that and turned the ball over 17 times while missing 6 of our last 7 threes. The beautiful passing of the first game was absent. We did a lot of one and one and, in a key stretch when we had a chance to pull away in the second half, started playing ‘one and done’ ball with 25 footers as soon as we got the ball in the half court.
- After a 25-13 start, it was 50-54 vs. the worst team in the conference.
- This was one team we had an advantage on inside but we didn’t take advantage of it. Guerrier and Dolezaj were 6 for 15 from the field and we only had a 37-33 edge on the boards. BC won the offensive boards 7-10.
- Buddy was 0 for 3 in scrambles for a loose ball after losing control of it.
- It might have been a game to get our centers some run. Bourama was a spectator. John Bol got in for the first time in a couple months and got embroiled in the strange series of events that produced double technical near the end of the half and sat after being in for 2 minutes. Jesse Edwards got in for a minute but did nothing.
