- We can beat good teams but we have to be functioning on all cylinders to do so. Joe Girard going 1 for 7 and 0 for 4 from the arc isn’t us operating on all cylinders.

- It wasn’t as bad but Cole Swider going 4 for 10 and scoring 11 points isn’t either. He’s out X factor guy. When he has a good game, we win, (or can win against the better teams)> When he doesn’t, we lose and tonight we lost.

- Let’s all pitch in and buy Frank Anselem a new watch so that eh can realize that these games start at 7PM, not 8PM. He’s given us nothing in the first half but played better in the second half these last two games. I mentioned in the chat room that he seemed small next to the guys he’s playing against. He’s listed at 6-10 215. Paul Atkinson is listed at 6-9 230 but Atkinson looked talker. Orangextreme replied that that’s because Frank is playing flat-footed. JB, in his pressers aid that this in the first time in 46 years that he’s had to yell at a guy to jump. Frank’s supposedly got a 7-5 wingspan but that’s when his arms are up. And he has to be able to hold onto balls, which he doesn’t. He’ll be ready at 7 for the next game though. It begins at 6.

- Boruama had a couple of good moments but our centers combined for 4 points and 10 rebounds. Atkinson had 20 points and 17 rebounds. Jimmy Satalin said that “we seem to be a player short. I think that player is Jesse Edwards.”

- We had 3 offensive rebounds in this game. That’s one every 10 missed shots, 13 minutes and 23 possessions. Notre Dame had 11 and converted them into 22 second chance points to our 6.

- We only forced 7 turnovers, same as we had, which meant that Notre Dame’s +12 in rebounds was also a +12 in possessions.

- Having the Boeheims score 47 of our 69 points is an impressive stat for them but not for the team.

- Sy Torrence, the ‘passing’ point guard scored 5 points but had only 1 assist. Joe Girard, the ‘scoring’ point guard, scored 2 points but had 4 assists.

- The fouls were 18-9 and ND gained +7 points form the line. That didn’t decide the contest by itself but…

- Why does the other team hit all the buzzer shots when the shot clock is running down? Maybe we are too impatient to wait that long to shoot.

Really good points, thanks for sharing. Mark Williams at Duke must salivating to play us Saturday (Frank reference).
-The Boeheims score 47 yet have an obvious disdain to play defense and like you pointed out it does little for the betterment of the team. Shameless.
