That shot was widely discussed...but when you think about it, it really does carry more meaning in light of today's events.

1) It was a selfish act.

2) It was a "look at me," NBA scouts, kind of moment.

3) After he went to the bench, #51 showed his other two ugly traits... a) immaturity
b) hair-trigger temper.

#51 was his own worst enemy. Good riddance.

All right--knock it off.

Iommi, you know I'm down with you, but it is time to end this temper tantrum. You've already made your feelings clear on Fab. No need to villainize anymore.

Hmmmm. Interesting point. And didn't both Dion and MCW get angry at him, which they downplayed later? (Was it Dion?)

It's not a temper tantrum at all. Point taken though. I'm done.

Probably the best call until more information comes out.

Personally hoping that things have a slightly different outlook tomorrow.

Have a good night.

I posted a speculation back in December, basically saying that I thought that the early season success of Fab and the favorable press that he was getting was going to have him seeing dollars and not books.

I like the kid and think that he's probably a good kid who is immature for his age, but I also think that he let his teammates and fans down by forgetting about responsibility and being swayed by potential money.

After reading what goes on with college basketball players and the sharks who descend on them.I think he might have been influenced and forgot about the team aspect of college basketball and got seduced by his future potential earnings.

Not surprised by the way that this has played out.

Fab mouthed to MCW during the argument "If I get the ball, I'm gonna shoot it"
