I would have to think the only question is whether Southerland or Fair start at PF. Christmas has to go to the backup center position.

I posted this prior to the providence game. The in dome tvs showed Baye and CJ starting, seemed odd at the time but sounds like since this has been known for a bit that is what JB was planning at the time. My guess is that is the starting lineup with Rak coming in off the bench

I'm a little more calm now that it's being floated around that Melo has a chance to come back. If that is true, this may help us in the long run in terms of a NCAA run (not in terms of going 40 - 0). Getting Xmas some meaningfull minutes will get some valuable experience and hopefully raise his confidence and then JB's confidence in him.

This just in. JB changing the line-up for ND. If he's going to change it, he's going to do what makes sense to him now (Whatever that happens to be).

Yeah that's the silver lining here.

Not saying we're gonna win out, but if we lose today or Monday, then Fab comes back, then when win out for the regular season I'd be pretty pissed.

Gotta think baye gets the start, with CJ at the 4. Could also see Rak sliding to the 5 to start.

If anyone was wondering why Rak got all those ceremonial starts, here's why. JB got burned in '10 when AO went down, and Riley was so buried on the bench he couldn't help us.

Rak has now been in every game, and has at least known he had to be ready every game. He may not be ready to be a star, but JB made sure he was ready to fill a hole.

He can't help but foul on defense and just doesn't stop anybody. So far, he looks like a guy with a good body who really doesn't understand how to play. He's kind of like Terrence Roberts without the motor.

Thank goodness it's only Notre Dame. And it's about time Baye started contributing again.

JB will Start the same 4 but will substitute the best other center at the position. Work it out for yourselves.

I would think Keita and Rak will share the center duties. We are going to need all 10 fouls at center. We don't Rak picking up fouls at another positon.
