1984
1984 in film - Wikipedia

I really liked:
Blame It on Rio
The Cotton Club
Falling in Love
Ghostbusters
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Irreconcilable Differences
Johnny Dangerously
The Killing Fields
Lassiter
Mass Appeal
Once Upon a Time in America
A Passage to India
Romancing the Stone
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Teachers

But the “Steve” goes to: Amadeus

Amadeus would probably be my top pick. Beverly Hills Cop might be my second. Classic movie. And Spinal Tap follows shortly thereafter.

Blood Simple came out in '84, too. It's not one of my favorites, but it's the first (I think) Coen brothers film and it's always interesting to see people's early work.

Wow I saw a lot of movies this year.

Lassiter makes the lost.. awesome

Missing In action.. CHUCKYY

blood simple was a fantastic film . stop making sense and anything with phoebe cates. but best picture goes to FRANKENWEENIE.
while babysitting my niece marley i'd guess we watched it at least 500 times on VHS. at 4 she didn't much go for AMADEUS. not a prodigy i guess.
