Bull Durham, Crossing Delancey, Eight Men Out are all exceptional.
I would add Big with Tom Hanks to the list.

Agree on Midnight Run. Great combination of action & humor.
 
Rain Man is my choice also. Just an excellent movie. One I can watch anytime I see it on.
 
regal is showing Big in the theatre as part of the TCM collection

it will be mid july.. just the piano scene alone the big screen is worth it.
