1990
1990 in film - Wikipedia

I really liked:
Awakenings
Bird on a Wire
Betsy's Wedding
Dances with Wolves
Ghost
Goodfellas
The Grifters
The Hot Spot
The Hunt for Red October
Mermaids
Postcards from the Edge
The Russia House
Three Men and a Little Lady
The Two Jakes

But the Steve goes to: Dances with Wolves

A lot of these original trailers don’t feature the actual theme music that went with the film, (the composer may still have been writing it at the time.) “Dances” has a particularly memorable score by John Barry, the guy who scored the James Bond films:

My Choice 439 - John Barry: Dances with Wolves (Theme)

Goodfellas

3 men and a little lady

My Blue heaven.. really under rated

Pretty Woman
Home Alone

Total Recall
Dance with Wolves

Misery

The Hunt for red october.

Die Hard 2

Quigley down under.. TS has a nice string of Westerns

memphis belle

Presumed Innocent

Me at Work.. really enjoed this at the time

Ski School. probably just because i was in college

Hard to kill. Segal made some fun ones

The Grifters.. finally connected what a grifter was to the Sting just took me a few years

SWC I gave you a like for your list, but boy I just have trouble watching Dances with Wolves. It's painful to me, and I like period piece dramas.

So many great movies that year;

Goodfellas
The Grifters (the ending was startling)
The Hunt for Red October
The Two Jakes
My Blue Heaven
Total Recall
Misery
The Hunt for Red October.
Quigley Down Under
Kindergarten Cop (my vote for most underrated Schwatzenegger film)
TREMORS !!! (took me totally by surprise)
Crybaby
Darkman (guilty pleasure)
The Witches (Anjelica Huston rocks)
Millers Crossing (probably my fav)
Cyrano de Bergerac
Edward Scissorhands

Other than Home Alone, I don't think there's a single movie from 1990 that I'd flip over to and watch til the end if it were on TV.

Though Misery's pretty wild and usually good for another watch. And The Hunt for Red October and some of the others are good.
