I never understood the purpose for people LEAVING a terminal.

On the way in, much more tolerant of scans / analysis, security restrictions where they funnel access, etc.

It did save money so that the exit area didn't need TSA agents manning them, but glad they will be retired!

One of the issues was illiteracy:. Few people went 3 at a time, which was clearly posted as the proper way to use them.

That drove me crazy. The lines would be super long and everyone would be going one at a time.

Although I'll miss yelling I'm in a glass case of emotion every time I'm trapped in there.

I for one will miss the tube. After a long day of travel they provided a brief moment of solitude before going out and clearing 3 feet of snow off my car while wearing sneakers. A cherished tradition.
