- Eric Dungey is amazing. He looked like he might have bene done for the game, 9and many others would have been) with his early ankle injury but they taped it up- on both the inside and the outside of the shoe. Later he injured his knee and wore a “sleeve” on it. But he rushed for 109 yards on 22 carriers and passed the ball 43 times for 278 yards and 2 scores. That’s a total of 387 yards total offense. When the field goal was missed my first thought was: Dungey didn’t deserve this”.

- Both Steve Ismael and Erv Phillips had 12 catches and over 100 yards despite being the focus of the Seminole’s defense. Steve now has 78 catches for 986 yards and 5 scores. Erv has 73-733-3. Over 12 games that translates to 104-1314-7 and 97-977-4. Those are numbers we could only dream of before Dino Babers came here. We’ll lost both players to graduation but you know somebody else will have numbers like that next year.

- Our 2 and 3 star guys faced off against their 4 and 5 star guys and ran 95 plays to their 56, outgained them 463-343 and out first downed them 21-13.

- Our absolute mastery of third down continued: 11 for 25 for SU vs. 1 of 10 for FSU.

- We need two wins in three games to get to a bowl. And two of those three games will in the “loud House”. Let’s make it that and root this team home!

Good post, but I believe you underestimate Phillips and Ishmael. Not likely any wr on the roster will just step in and put up similar numbers. They were significant contributors in 2015 and 2016 before making additional steps this season.

We thought we couldn't replace AET but we did. Dino will bring in some big time talents, probably already has.

No quite - we did not replace AET’s touchdowns. Phillips and Ishmael had a ton of catches last season and increased the numbers this season.

Maybe Dino finds a grad or a juco, but the next guys on the roster (Butler, Curtis, Riley ...) are nowhere close to what Phillips and Ishmael were as underclassmen. So there is work to do.

There's no way to make your second statement accurate in any way. That is pure conjecture. Erv and Ish have started since they got here because there wasn't any upperclassman talent starting ahead of them. You have no idea how good the young guys are right now because Erv, Ish and Custis are catching all of the balls. I'm not gonna worry about it until we know there's a talent issue (I dont think there will be one).

Don't forget about johnson and johnson. Have high hopes for them. Also we have some legit playmakers coming in. Not sure who plays and who redshirts but it's definitely a good problem to have.
