You do realize that we will need to beat teams far better than WVU , likely four such teams, perhaps five, to win the tourney? I don't think accepting this type of performance simply because we won is really going to work in the long run. Things need to be fixed and fast.

Seriously. I just finished watching the game on DVR. Fortunately I had a gem of a Cab marked down recently from $65 to $20 courtesy of Jungle Jim's in Cincy to accompany me. Poor WVU. They absolutely DESTROYED us on the glass, had some nice ball movement, made some timely 3's, and got robbed on at least one call at the end. We threw together slop on offense, made some FTs, and got some transition buckets of course. YES, we got the win but like you say, we will face better teams in the future. Nothing wrong with criticizing SU with this. Gotta feel for WVU if you're honest. Highlight for me was that play Baye made towards the end swooping in for the offensive rebound (he caught the ball!) and converting in traffic for the layup.

Don't understand the attitudes right now. It was only 5 years ago that we were pulling our hair out because Paul Harris was throwing an inbound pass directly to a PITT player to lose a game, then bitching how we were in the NIT.
