Trill Williams

[alternate perspective]

He wasn't able to stay healthy here OR in the pros. He might have made a good decision, since he made the bigs and stuck for a few years.

Hope he latches on somewhere else.
was he ever on anything other than a practice squad? maybe he doesn't tear his ACL in 2022 if he stays in college? Maybe he does? Who knows, but atleast he may have gotten a degree, and best case is he gets a degree AND gets drafted.

He can go back and finish his degree and his NFL career may still have life in it.

His ACL injury at SU happened in warm ups prior to a game, right?

He got injured both years he was in the NFL -- not sure how many games he was active. Missed most of last year [if not all] due to injury, which is a shame b/c the Dolphins' secondary was heavily depleted, and he might have gotten a big dose of PT.

As you state, we'll never know. I think he got spooked his final year at SU when he got the bad injury, and wanted to start the clock ASAP on his professional earning potential. Not many college football players make the NFL, let alone for two years -- so in a sense, he "made" it, no matter how things turned out.

He's young, so hopefully he gets another chance. Or gets signed to Miami's practice squad, so that his NFL career continues.

He did play in 1 game for the Dolphins in 2021. I’m not sure what last year counts as, since he was injured in training camp and missed the year. Also not sure what he got paid for that.

He was having a great training camp in Miami in 2022 was expected to make the team and play, tore up his knee in the final preseason game (late in the game too). So he is coming back from that, then they moved him from CB to safety as well this offseason. And he opened up training camp in a RED NON CONTACT jersey for the first couple weeks where you can do very little realy.

He had all of this working against him, so not surprised he was let go. Miami if they can will probably want him on the practice squad.

Iffy and Trill both moved to safety. Iffy barely held his spot. With Cisco we are turning into Safety U.
