it's never been more clear that Interstate 81 runs steeply downhill from Syracuse to Binghamton (or Vestal, as the case may be) . . . just ask Tiki Mayben, who wanted to scale the heights but ended up circling the drainWe now have two unbeaten teams and two winless teams (Binghamton and Towson). Thus, my bi-weekly question. Which do we have longer ... an unbeaten team or a winless team?
and I have degrees from both.
My sons rec league U-12 squad could beat Binghamton.
I feel bad for Mark Macon. Seems like a good guy and is trying to do the right thing. Broadus really messed things up over at Princeton on the Parkway, did a LOT of internal damage with academic departments, etc. Burned some good people who got a lot of pressure from the President on down to tweak or bend rules for players. The University deserves to run the table in reverse, but from my first hand experiences and contacts over there, Mark Macon and the current bunch of kids do NOT.
So, net, I will go with BU to run the table in reverse this year for trying to do what pretty much every other program did/does.
I last saw a game last year against New Hampshire where they absolutely should have won big as they were dominating.. but as UNH came back to take the lead there was no emotion, no instruction and he sat down slumped backwards like some of the half inebrieted students. Im sure the total house cleaning after Broadus has a little to do with it but still... its painful to watch a team have no leader.
