matches up against higher level defenses. This weekend two building programs that are "Baylor" style offenses, SU and Tulsa, are going up against two of the better defenses this year, Louisville and OSU respectively.
The one open question about this system is how does it translate against better defenses. Other than TCU the Big 12 hasn't been known for tough defense.
Another interesting note is how this offense has evolved away from it's Air Raid roots. Briles added more run over time, last year Baylor ran for 500 more yards than it passed, of course it was a ridiculous 8000 yds of total offense,
Saturday Tulsa smoked San Jose State rushing for 300 and passing for 200. Babers made if clear he isn't a throw every down guy either, and last year at BG shows that, they had over six games of over 200 yds rushing and play selection was 594 passes/542 runs.
