They are currently down 8 with 7 minutes left, on the road vs. Tennessee.

UT isn't that great this year, but they are better since Stokes joined them. They are always tough in Knoxville. Would still be a suspect loss if they lose to the Vols, though.

Huskies are a Jeckyll & Hyde team this year.

Just not a top 25 team this year. They seem to play soft to me. Tenn is getting stronger as this game goes on.

The SEC is a helluva lot better than people give it credit for.

Yup. They are going down to Chinatown.

I'm not sure. This UT team is 8-10 and 1-3 in the SEC. They have a bunch of horrible losses (Oakland, Austin Peay, Charleston, and Pitt).

Tennessee almost beat Kentucky IIRC.

Still amazing though since UConn have all world Andre Drummond on thier team.

I don't mean just UT, but also bottom half teams like Bama and LSU that are very capable of beating good teams. It's a pretty well balanced conference.

It's a lot like the Big East, in a sense. Only 1 really good/great team, and a bunch of teams at or near the bottom that can beat anybody else on a given night.

This UConn team is finished. Napier is just not a winner. Never has been, never will be. The only person on that roster I find half-way intruiging is Lamb. He would be nice rotation guy for us. I can see him second or third off our bench, ten minutes a game, 6ppg. JB would rein in his excesses and he's long enough to play the zone. By the time he's a senior, who knows? might start.
