Figure we can get a thread going on some meet-ups (aka Blarney). Who here is going?

Got my tickets in the mail and I'm in section 114.

I'll be somewhere pre-gaming it with the wife and son (9 yrs old), coming up from Charleston, SC to spend the weekend in the city, ending it on Monday night with SU-UCONN, so I'll need some 'Cuse fans to chat with before gametime. Was hoping Alumni would put something on like they used to for Big East Tourney at Stout, but don't any coordinated events so we'll have to get something together.
This is my first time bringing my son to the city...what are the laws? Will they let him into Stout, Blarney, etc?

    Two shot minimum. ;)

Seriously though, I believe he can be taken in. Word of warning - the Blarney and Stout are absolutely NUTS before an SU game at the Garden. Usually really packed. It can be difficult to move around, and probably easy for him to get pushed/stepped on/etc. If you get there early, grab one of the tables - probably your best bet.

Thanks...I've been to both and I do remember Blarney being very small and tight...and if I remember right, there is an upstairs loft in Stout where we can sit and watch the crazies from up top.

I am leaving work that day at 1pm and after lunch I will probably head to the Gingerman and then the Blarney, early enough so that it's not too packed. CuseTroop may even make an appearance.

Was going to ask what a good time to get to Blarney is. My girlfriend and I will be doing some stuff in the city prior to the game.

I'm probably going to get there just before 5pm to beat the post-work rush. I'll be the guy in the Syracuse attire.

I was planning on being at the Blarney by 4 the absolute latest (I've been beating that into my girls head for a month.. I'm not interested in a "let's swing by Macys" at 3:30) to try to hold down a table.
