There was a lot of bad math going on during the final couple of uconn possessions. At home, you play for the tie and get the game to OT. Napier gets tons of press, but i've never been a fan. He takes a lot of 'no, no. no...good shot' types of threes. it evenually catches up to you. he'll shoot them out of as many games as he wins...tonight was a classic example.

I give UConn alot of credit. Stanford tried to give the game away at the end but, UConn and especially Napier just wouldn't let them. It shows alot of integrity to be handed a game like that and not just take the win.

Well, what a surprise! I've been saying it all year folks, Stanford had 2 decent big men and Napier didn't go off for 27; that's ALL it takes to beat UConn. Get rebounds, score down low, and don't let Napier go off.

This is the same Stanford team that let Pitt score 88 pts (lost by 21) and let BYU score 112. But Napier goes 4/13 and UConn can't even crack 55.

Also watching UConn try to score against a zone was hilarious. If we saw them in teh touranment and that's how they try to attack a zone we win by 30.

Couldn't UConn as easily be 7-5 right now...they won 3 one point games and one 2 point game.
