Random question. I had Espn on before and on the scroll under the Wake UNC game it said wont count in Acc Standings. Anyone know why that is?

I bet it's one of those games that was scheduled as a non-conference game for both teams when they had a hole to fill.

Because they agreed to play each other as non-conference opponents.

ACC teams Wake Forest and North Carolina schedule non-conference matchups

Even though it's a bit awkward, it's pretty much a win-win for those two schools.

The schools are 77 miles apart, and the two have played 108 times, so they wanted to play each more than once every 6 years.

I think if we lose our next two games we leave the ACC, cancel game with Pitt, add game with Cornell, rejoin the ACC in January.

Our first football game was against each other in 1888. What would be Duke University was still named Trinity College and was not yet in Durham, but its first football was also in 1888 and its first game was also versus UNC.

The only sports at MooU then were udder cleaning and hawg rasslin.

I think they beat Wake too. They played well at South Bend.
