have this one too. LBSU is really athletic and long. Poor man's Baylor or SU. "The Experts" were really high on UNM, especially Valvano.

Experts loving a team = team will flame out

LBSU is senior dominated and they really challenged themselves to prep for this tourney. I wouldn't be shocked to see them make the sweet 16.

LBSU looked like when I watched them in their tourney final. If they play like I saw, they've got no chance.

I don't get all the hype about their schedule. They lost every big game they played.

They're like USF without the win over Louisville. Nobody likes USF, but everyone loves LBCU because they lost at a bunch of good teams?

I'll believe it when I see it.

If LIU Brooklyn had gotten a 15, I could see them beating a Duke, but it ain't happening against MSU.

I think Montana, Belmont, Iona, St Bonaventure and New Mexico State could win as 13 or lower seeds. For the rest, I like Cal and VCU. Memphis over Michigan State.

Y'all are underestimating LIU. That game is going to be a lot closer than many think. Detroit can beat Kansas if Taylor doesn't show up. Long Beach St will beat New Mexico. Harvard over Vandy. Montana can beat Wisconsin. They have no offense. If USF makes it past BYU I think they'll beat Temple.

Iona over BYU in what could be the most run & gun game of the entire tourney.

And call me crazy but I think UConn has a good chance at knocking off Kentucky...IF they
get past Iowa State.

It's tempting to pick Long Beach State if they're hitting 3's.
But New Mexico may be THE most under-appreciated team in America.
Steve Alford has really good team there.

LIU may have some fun trying to run out Michigan State.
But not quite enough to win.
And it's usually a mistake to pick against Tom Izzo in March.

This will be the season of the higher seeds.

We might see a very low number of upsets, in fact, unusually low. The odds have been in favor of Cinderfella for at least 3 years now, & I think we are due for the numbers to put balance back in the universe.

I have no empirical evidence to stand upon, but it's a feeling in my spirit that drives my thoughts...

You can put the gun back in the holster. While UConn has the athletes to make an upset (or two), this team is too inconsistent to put together 4 solid games to reach the FF. Kemba aint walkin through that door.

According to Vegas, Southern Miss over Kansas State is an upset (Kansas State is favored by five). I like Texas over Cincinnati, but Cincinnati is actually only favored by two.

Loyola over Ohio St., St. Bonnies over FSU, and Ohio over Michigan. FSU can never be trusted, and the line in vegas is "eye raising", seems like FSU should be favored by a lot more.

Yeah, I feel horrible for vandy's sr class because they all seem like great people... but I def think Harvard is going to win.
