I wonder why the Cuse/UVa game got moved to 8:30. Prior information showed the 1 vs 4 game at 6pm. Playing the later game certainly doesn't have any benefits for the 1 seed, if they win.

Playing the late game makes it more of a home game for UVa. Hopefully the squad is excited about playing under the lights and answers the call

The ACC needs to pick an actual neutral site, like Georgia for the tournament. It’s not fair that Virginia gets home turf as a 4 seed. People would be upset if the tournament was at the Dome.

It's being rotated between the 5 schools .. just like it used to be.

Syracuse will host once every 5 years.

The host team has always played in the late game so the stands don't empty out before the late game starts.

The rotation used work that the game was in NC in the odd years and outside NC in the even. The final version of the rotation was UNC - UVa - dook - Md. A supposed part of the impetus to have the game in Chester, PA, in 2014 was that Md was scheduled to be the host that year and the ACC wanted to punish them for leaving. UNC hosted last year; we're hosting this year; and who of dook, SU, and ND will host it next year is pure guesswork.

If we hadn't beaten UNC this year, the host would have been out of the tournament.

Duke hosted last year.

I think ND is next, followed by UNC and SU.
