Ok, enough of the melting down, enough of the feeling sorry for ourselves.
Melo let down his teammates, his coaches, and everyone that supported him at Syracuse University. He up, he got a second chance, he up again, he's done.
But you know what? We're still a 1-seed. We're still sitting on a team that still rolls nine-deep. We lost our best center, but this isn't like we've lost the second-coming of Shaq. Dashonte Riley ain't walking through that door, an experienced sophomore and a 5-star freshman are.
So everyone's dancing on our grave. What's new? We've been battered by the media all year and we are rolling out a team on Thursday that has only gone 31-2, the best season in Syracuse basketball history, and we're worried about what some talking-head, mouthbreather assclowns on TV are saying?
'em all.
We have one of the greatest coaches in college basketball history that doesn't give a what those morons think of him. We have the best friggin' fanbase in college basketball that overruns our opponents' arenas like locusts. So people hate our coach, they hate us, and they dig on our team.
And now they're counting out our boys.
everyone that doubts us, I haven't invested this much, for this long, to back down now. Our team has been getting kicked all year and after all of it, they're taking the floor on Thursday as a #1-seed, with a chance to play in our backyard all the way to returning to the scene of our greatest triumph.
This team is going to come out on Thursday and wreak terrible vengeance on that glorified community college in the sticks.
everyone else, Let's go Orange!
