Today's NYT Magazine has a nice story about ESPN's Woj giving up his huge salary to become GM of St. Bonaventure basketball.

And I quote in relevant part (emphasis added):

"The general manager of a college basketball team is a relatively new position...At the start of the current season, there were only about a dozen, mostly at perennial basketball powers like Villanova and Syracuse."
