This doesn't appear to be our typical cupcake non-conference schedule for the next month. All of the teams we are playing between now and Big East play have winning records.

E. Michigan : 4-1
Florida: 4-1
Marshall: 5-0
George Washington: 4-1
NC State: 5-1
Bucknell: 3-2
Tulane: 5-0

That's a combine 30-6 record...not too shabby. If we come out of the non-con without any blemishes, we will have at least done it vs some quality teams.

Outside of FLA, I don't think anyone will be confusing this for murderer's row... records don't always indicate much in November.

It's not UK, Duke and Ohio State by any means.

However, we're playing some A10 and C-USA teams. That's a considerable step up from the MAAC and Northeast Conference teams we usually schedule during December. Combine those games with VaTech and Stanford, and our non-conf is at least respectable (along with UF and NC State).

Eastern Michigan plays Michigan St tomorrow. That should give us an indication of how good they are. I'm guessing State will blow them out.
We know Florida and Marshall are pretty good teams.
G. Washington got blown out at Cal but beat Detroit who has a fair team.
NCST lost to Vandy by 7 and beat Texas (who don't seem to be very good themselves this year).
Bucknell lost to Vandy and Minnesota (each by 12) and haven't beaten anyone of note.
Tulane has played cupcakes to get to 5-0.

So Florida and Marshall are the only two teams that have a reasonable shot to knock us off before we hit the BE.

Don't forget NC State. Traveling down there will be a challenge.
