All those “or’s” on the OL are driven by Heckels availability. I don’t expect him to play against Holy Cross so it’ll be what it’s been. When he is, it’ll be what we started the year with, which are the “or’s”.

Still he has to want to comeback and play another yr too. maybe he wants to move on.

If he is 100% with 6-7 to go hard to see him sitting out 2-3 more games.

he probably wants to move on to the pros. that's not likely to happen if he misses half of this season.

If hes 100% bring him back. Otherwise let the kid decide.

I'm sure it's documented somewhere but why am I hearing rumblings that Cordy's career might be over? Thought he was a major factor Saturday until he went out.

Did he get hurt?

the paper story said concussion and hinted at it. But who knows if thats a guess at the injury.. didnt he knock both kids out of the game?

He left the game in the second half. Looked like he got his bell run (in old man terms) and I believe both he and the WMU WR went out of the game. Someone asked a question in the press conference yesterday that was hard to hear but sounded like they asked if his career might be over. Then in Bailey's column this morning at syracuse.com he wrote:

"Antwan Cordy and the cast of fill-ins fare well
If Antwan Cordy's career at SU is over following a glancing helmet-to-helmet blow with Bellamy in the third quarter, he went out on a high note."

down multiple DBs this week good time for a bye and likely need to work someone in. It could also be a multi week thing where the 4 week RS we could give someone some run.

Damn. Maybe concussion?

Seems highly unlikely a concussion would knock him out for the season unless he has some history of concussions were not aware of. Thats a very odd statement by Bailey.

Ugh, that'd suck. I've been critical of Cordy's style of play but he's had a history of struggling after injuries and that'd be too bad for him.

And for whatever it's worth, he had a great textbook form tackle on 2nd down early in the game on Saturday.
