It would be interesting to see if he stayed on as the 4th guard or used the graduate/course clause to be a big contributor elsewhere. remember Cooney was the ahead of him on the depth charts in the exhabition season.

That would seem to make the most sense for Mookie, and I would wish him great success if he did that. As an SU fan though I would love to see him stay as the 4th guard to bridge the gap to the class of 2013. If Dion and Mookie leave we would have MCW and Brandon starting with Cooney as the 3rd guy, but if either starter had to miss time we could have issues and Mookie would be a very nice security blanket at that point in time. I'd prefer this to taking a flyer on a 2012 guard that may never pan out.

Absolutely agre. He will get his degree and then he is outta here. I hope he does go somewhere and play next year. He deserves to.

Agreed. Mookie is always the first guy jumping off the bench to support his mates on the floor. He's been a great team mate.

You folks are romanticizing this way too much. Mookie will likely graduate and leave. Maybe to play somewhere else, maybe just to get on with life. He would not get minutes if he stayed beyond what is happening right now. Mookie is a great teammate who has already decided and seen his fate.

Some of you are forgetting that JB usually only plays three guards. If DW leaves, MCW and BT will play 30 mpg and TC will play 20.
