Has anyone watched them play this year? I haven't watched 1 minute of them

Very mediocre
That says it.
They may be improving but they have not played tough competition, have not beaten anyone worth talking about and lost to St. Francis of Brooklyn at home.

I would expect the result and victory margin of the SU/Miami basketball game to be very similar to the Miami/Louisville Russell Athletics Bowl on Monday.

Miami has not one rotation player who shoots it from the outside over 30 pct. Naturally they will go 6-10 in the first half. After that I expect we will run them out of the dome.

Agreed.

They are not the same team that won the ACC last year. They have senior leadership but don't return last year’s stars. They'll start 3 guards with good size (6'5" - 6'6") and they do have a 7 footer off the bench but they're really not an athletic match for us. I suspect they'll try the typical high-post feed to James Kelly who may be able to pop a couple from there or try to send it to their 6'9" forward, Kirk, down low. They're not a particularly good 3pt shooting team and they're not as good at moving and delivering the ball as say 'Nova. Their leader, Rion Brown, would have to have a special game to keep Miami in this one IMO. Since they rotate 6 seniors and a junior in their lineup, they shouldn't be taken lightly but I think they'll have fits with the zone and expect we’ll force close to 20 turnovers in a 20+ point win. I look for JG and possibly Rak to have solid games again, leading our effort in points and rebounds.

Something between DePaul and rutgirls.

I believe they're in Florida and their mascot is some sort of meteorological phenomena.

I'm also not hearing they will be going to the Big Ten imminently.

Ha, well anyone that plays St. Francis close at home can't be good...

I'm pretty sure they aren't any good though

So that means one guy is gonna hit 5 3's on us in a row.

If Rak and Keita can contain Constantin Popa, we should be fine.

It shouldn't. They lost something like their top 7 players from last year's team.

They stink this year.

I assume he was referring to the larranaga picture that was scary.

I loved the fake pass then shot Cooney made against EMU. He really has a variety of ways to get open on his 3s. I am just stunned by how well he's doing.

I think we will do fine against Miami. The upcoming team I most worried about is UNC.

One win versus a top 125 RPI opponent. Three losses to teams below 125 in the RPI. The Canes kicked off conference play by losing at home to Va. Tech.

They haven't played a single ranked team all year and they already have 5 losses. The toughest team they have played is GW with an RPI of 35 and they lost to them.

It's going to be insanely frigid on Saturday. I think the Miami players will be under dressed and in cold shock. The nambi bambis are not going to show up to play.
