I’ve come to terms with being a mediocre team. Ultimately the loss of Dungey’s legs and our losses at OLine were underestimated. It is what it is, they are gone and this is the team we have.

What really irks me is that the things that are in our control, are the things we suck at.

Two 10 second run offs for false starts? Misusing time outs because we don’t have a play ready after an extended break due to injuries. Kicking out of bounds. Dropping point saving interceptions in the end zone. Taking sacks in a two minute drill.

It’s bad all the way around and I don’t see how this gets better. These guys had expectations coming into the season and you can see the frustration starting to come to a head.


We either take a look in the mirror and defend home turf against Pitt next week, or this team may win 4 games.

This has been our program for decades. Seems more of the same. We are gimmicky and we stink at it.

I gotta say Pitt is a much better team than we played last night and unless our defense does something uncanny like hold them to seven points we will lose bye 3 touchdowns. I don’t see a possible win playing like we do.

What irks me is we know the “formula” for a quarterback here. He has to be mobile to make something happen out of nothing. That’s what McNabb did and then no one since Dungey. I hope we don’t screw around for another 4 years trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole.

Kinda what we are doing exactly. This offense needs the qb to run. U can’t call a zone run play and only run with Rb. Ur missing half the offense then. Td coulda walked 20 yards on a keeper. Also I gotta say we are missing Dungey a win at all costs type plays. If Ed was in the first run Td was short on woulda been a 45 yard run cause no one was around. I know the kid is hurt so he shouldn’t be playing period. Dumbass call by Dino.
