I thought he meant they were going to wear them Wednesday (Feb. 8th) against G'Town since they are 'rivalry jerseys' and yeah, they are gray supposedly.

Makes a ton of sense to wear gray against Georgetown.

yea because recruits don't want to play for teams with a nike contract who get the newest/freshest unis before any other team

And years ago in maybe the early 90s, we wore like a royal blue against Kentucky I believe. It was awful...and we lost. So please don't do this. We are the Orange for pete's sake (who's pete anyway?). If you want a different uniform, ok. But keep the colors the same.

Listen folks. Whether we like new unis or not, the publicity alone is good. Recruits go to Oregon just so they can wear the "cool" jerseys up there. If the players get into it, and Syracuse is a team leading the way, 12 year olds might start sporting that gear like I sported Oakland Raiders Starter gear back in the day when I didn't even like the Raiders. The combination of a Jay-Z/Melo I dynasty endorsement and a reputation for having "cool" uniforms will make every young hooper talking syracuse in middle school. That's something that will help sustain a flow of top level recruits. No BS.
