He is just looking through a different set of glasses.. we missed a lot of bunnies.. were hacked with no calls time and time again... and KJO missed three open treys he usually makes. So 8 missed FT's and a couple missed layups (many of which were missed due to Fab/CJ/Keita flying in) and its still an 8 point difference.. add the bad calls in there where we should have been shooting 2.. along with the bogus goaltending call... subtract the putbacks on offensive fouls and its a 20 point game.

Let's face it, with the size of our front line, other teams are going to miss bunnies if they avoid the block just because of the "presence" of our bigs. Remember all those point blank shots we missed against those great shot-blocking UConn teams?

And lets not pretend like Pitt is a good free throw shooting team, because they are not. So it wasn't earth-shattering to see them shoot so poorly from the line, especially when one of their worst free throw shooters had 8 attempts.

You've got it exactly right. When you say somebody missed a lay up you are insinuating that they missed an easy shot. Pitt had nothing easy inside against Syracuse. SU dominated the game in the paint on both sides of the floor and loved it every time Pitt tried to force the ball inside because they had almost no chance of converting over Fab and the rest of SU's front line.

Well, we've all read these same kind of comments here a thousand times by our own fans after SU losses, no? It's really just another way of pointing out what they didn't do well.
