- Because even with all the injuries, I wouldn’t trade our roster for theirs.
- They are 4-0 against four teams with a combined record of 1-11. We’ve played two national ranked teams. We’d be 4-0 against their schedule.
- Malik Willis has a shoulder injury that has caused him to overthrow receivers. He was 11 for 29 in his last game. High throws tend to get intercepted and we are leading the country in interceptions.
- The last time Rex Culpepper Started he completed 24 of 34 passes for 280ds and 2TDs against Boston College. He’s also run for 47 yards on 10 carries against Louisville. I’ll take that, please.
- Yes, liberty is giving up 250 yards a game rushing. Theya re giving up the same amount. Our running game gets well against these guys.
- They have a weird 4-2-5 defensive set-up. Their linebackers go 6-0 210 and 6-2 205. Their D- backs go 6-0 185, 5-10 160, 6-1 185, 6-0 200 and 5-11 175. That’s not a lot of meat behind the line. We could do to them what Duke did to us.
- Our team is embarrassed by their performance against Duke. They dropped passes and missed tackles all day. This is their chance to get back on track and they will be highly motivated to do so, just as Duke was motivated to do last week.
- Thank you, Vegas. Our team has spent a week reading about how they are going to lose at home to Liberty.
