I agree Garbs I think Marquette and WVU do well since they have special players that can carry them to the sweet 16 or elite 8. I also think Uconn makes some noise but falls short to Kentucky at the end and the rest of the conference is on par with there current seeding. That plus SU winning it all puts the Big East back on top after all the trashing it's received

If I knew the answer to that question then I would prob have a decent bracket. I have two BE teams headed to the Elite 8 (Cuse and Marquette).

The conference was insanely unlucky last year between Chris Wright's injury, the L'ville kid getting hurt when they had control of their game, and losing virtually every nailbiter game (Pitt might've played in the finals if they got by Butler)...

I don't have many clubs doing well this year. Uconn feels like your standard "much anticipated 2nd round game that never happens" that we see every year; I got them going down to Iowa St. I don't see WVU doing much against Ohio St. Cincy could easily lose to Texas. L'ville got a nice draw in the BET, I think they have problems with New Mexico. I like G'towns team but they obviously got a horrid draw despite perhaps being overseeded with Kansas being in St Louis. Marquette is really the only other team I can see making a deep run; Mizzou game probably a toss-up.

Why the need for redemption? Just a couple of weeks ago you were saying the BE did really well because UConn won the NC. Glad to see you're coming around to reality.

Quite possible that the BEC overachieves this yr after underachieving for several yrs., a regressing to the mean type of thing.
